About Jasmine:
Jasmine is an accomplished entrepreneur, speaker, and author from Virginia, celebrated for her inspiring writing journey and her commitment to empowering young voices. Her passion for storytelling ignited in third grade, fueled by a school assignment unveiling words’ transformative power. Since then, she has emerged as a prominent teenage author and poet, captivating readers around the globe with her expressive writing.
Jasmine’s debut book, My World View Through Poetry, offers a unique perspective on her surroundings, blending personal insights with universal themes. In her second book, A Christmas Mouse, she weaves an enchanting tale about a little girl who embarks on a magical adventure after hearing a mysterious noise on her roof on Christmas Eve. This narrative showcases her imaginative storytelling and reflects her deep belief in the power of creativity. She is poised to release her third work, Locs Not Dreads, which tells the story of a girl named Naomi who chooses to lock her hair but feels upset when others refer to them as “dreads” after learning the term’s true meaning.
Jasmine’s mission extends beyond her own writing; she is dedicated to sharing her love for the craft with her community. Her goal is to teach young people how writing and other creative mediums can empower them to find their voices and create meaningful change in their communities. Her works have received widespread acclaim, further solidifying her position as a voice for her generation.
When she’s not writing, Jasmine enjoys competing in track races, crocheting cozy projects on her couch, and spending quality time with her three beloved dogs—Cross, Tux, and Caesar. She treasures moments with her parents and two siblings, emphasizing the importance of family and connection.
